Our House Groups are an important part of being church in today’s mobile and distributed community. With a large Sunday congregation, the House Groups enable members to get to know each other better and to offer mutual support, playing an important role in pastoral care.
Meeting in small groups around the area provides great opportunities to share in prayer and the study of God’s word, seeking to understand the place of Jesus in our lives. It brings laughter, learning, challenge, celebration and action into the lives of members.
Three groups meet on Tuesday evenings, two in homes across Milton Keynes and one at the Church; another two groups also meet at the Church - one on Tuesday mornings and the other on Wednesday evenings. Each group has its own personality engendered by its members. A range of media is used to guide the programmes which might include home-grown, or formal study-guides, videos and spontaneous discussions of current issues. There is also a variety of social activities.
