The evening service at 6.00pm will be led by Rev John Pearce when he will be continuing the studies in Romans 9.

(In the evening Rev David Gregory is preaching on "Hope for God's Future" at a MK Methodist Circuit service on the theme of Climate Change at Christ the King Church, Kents Hill. David was one of the authors of the report of the same name published by the Baptist Union, Methodist and United Reform Churches last year).

Education Sunday - Cards for Schools
Last week we celebrated Education Sunday, remembering in prayer pupils, students and staff who are part of the church community, as well as our local schools. There were cards available to sign to sending greetings to our local schools, but few people signed them. The cards are again in the foyer and I invite you to sign them as a sign of our care for the life of the local community. I will deliver them to the local schools, together with a box of "Heroes" chocolates for the staff rooms this week. Thank you. Dave Gregory

AGM and Church Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of the Church will be held on Tuesday 23 March at 8.00pm. The agenda will include consideration of the annual reports, presentation of 2009 accounts, the election of Deacons and appointments of Church Secretary (nominee - Ian Markey) and Church Treasurer (nominee - Santosh Ronad). This will be followed by a short Church Meeting. All members are asked to attend these important meetings at which we reflect and give thanks for God's work at Loughton over the past year, and look at issues which shape our future life with God.

If, due to "unavoidable absence" you will be unable to attend the Meeting and wish to be considered for the allocation of a postal vote for the election, please speak with Peter Bush by Tuesday 16 March.

Appointment of Deacons
Today (7 March) is the closing date for the nomination of Deacons for election at the AGM. Please continue to pray over this important matter.

AGM Reports
A big “thank you” to everyone who has contributed information to our annual review of Church activities. The Reports can now be viewed on the Members’ area of the Church website and printed booklets are available today in the foyer for those who have requested them. There is also a copy for reference on the Notice Board. If anyone else would like a printed copy please contact the Church Office.

Special Edition of the Baptist Times
We have copies of this in the foyer, with a special feature on the life of the churches of the Central Baptist Association of which we are a part. You might even find we are mentioned!  Please take home a copy today.

Prayer Bulletin

Our Fellowship at LBC
Pray for our students away at university - Jon Colmer, Lorna Trimnell, George Lui, Tom Fung, Shewta George, and Sarah Gregory – for growth through their studies, in their life with God in what can be a challenging environment.

Pray also for the young adults who continue to work in Milton Keynes and regularly worship with us – Hazel, Tamsin and Peter Sinden. Hazel celebrates her 21st birthday on Monday, so please offer special prayers of blessing for her.
