Parents and ToddlersOur Parent and Toddler Group began in May 1993. It is run by the church for the local community – and there is often a waiting list!
We open:
• every Thursday morning during the school terms,
• from 9.30 – 11.30
• for babies and children up until they start Pre-school etc. and
• we charge £1 per family
We have two areas, one carpeted to provide a safe place for the very young and another with slide, climbing frame, bikes and activities for the older children.
Each week we offer:
• an art/craft activity
• a time for singing and action rhymes
• refreshments.
Once a month we gather in the church for the first thirty minutes for a simple activity with some songs and a story.
From time to time we run Parenting Courses for small groups of 8/10 parents and these last for seven weeks.
People wanting to know more should come along with their children for a “Taster Session” on any Thursday.
